Akwamuhene: His Majesty Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III

His Majesty Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III, also known as Bernard Aboagye Owiredu in private life, holds the esteemed title of Overlord of Akwamuman (Akwamu State), one of the oldest Akan Dynastic States in Ghana, West Africa.

He is widely recognized as a visionary leader dedicated to the well- being of his people, advocating for improved education, targeted tourism, and the development of entrepreneurship skills. Through his foundation, the 'Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III Foundation,' he provides vital support to bright but underprivileged young individuals, enabling them to pursue higher education and become successful graduates not only from Akwamuman but from across Ghana.

In his professional life, His Majesty is a Health Administrator, having earned a BSc in Health Service Administration from the University of Central Florida, and later an MSc in Business Administration (EMBA, Project Management) from the University of Ghana Business School.

Additionally, Odeneho Kwafo Akoto serves as the CEO of Bavako Investment Company Limited, where he established Bavako Farms to offer training and employment opportunities to the youth in his community. This initiative not only supports the youth but also aligns with the government's goal of reducing the importation of farm produce to boost the nation's GDP.

As the Paramount Chief and President of the Akwamu Traditional Council, His Majesty Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III plays a crucial role in preserving the cultural heritage and traditions of his people.

Furthermore, he currently serves as the Chairman of the Governing Council of the Ghana College of Pharmacists, a position he has held since 2017, demonstrating his commitment to advancing healthcare and pharmaceutical practices in the country.
